You won't see it as much as WHM as you would if you were a SCH or AST trying to shield someone, but keep it in mind a late buff means that person isn't going to have it. This can take anywhere from instant to a full 2-3 seconds depending on where the server tick was when you cast. When you buff someone, that buff is not on that person until the server tick registers it. The game has a very noticeable delay just about everywhere. This is compounded by a bad netcode dodge everything as early as you can or you will constantly be hit by things you were out of on your screen.īeing a healer, ALWAYS be early with your buffs.
